Sewer Commission Minutes
Village of Poplar
August 10th, 2010
Meeting called to order by Chairman Doug Stanley at 6:00 pm
In attendance were Doug Stanley, Bob Bergsten, Ken Clausen and Jerald Swanson
Absent
Operator Brad Nelson
Clerk Lori Plummer
SPEAKERS: Jerry Jerome would like to apply for connection to the sewer. A motion
was made by Ken Clausen to accept Mr. Jerome’s application for sewer connection. The
motion was seconded by Jerald Swanson. Motion carried without negative vote.
OPERATOR’S REPORT: The commission received a report from Brad Nelson on the operation of the sewer system.
FINANCIAL REPORT: The commission received a written financial report from the clerk Lori Plummer regarding income, disbursements, and current balances.
OLD BUSINESS:
Approval of Minutes: Ken Clausen made a motion to accept the minutes. The motion was seconded by Jerald Swanson. Motion carried without negative vote.
Payment of Bills: A motion was made by Bob Bergsten to pay the bills. The motion was seconded by Jerald Swanson. Motion carried without negative vote.
OTHER OLD BUSINESS:
Discussion regarding sealing of manholes. Brad will check on price for spraying manholes.
ADJOURN: Bob Bergsten made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Ken Clausen seconded the motion. Motion carried without negative vote. Meeting was adjourned at 6:19 pm.
